7 Bible Verses to Consider Memorizing

The word of God is powerful never returns void, which is why we have put together 7 scriptures for you to memorize. Don’t feel pressure to know them all at once. Start with one at time. Once you can confidently say you have one memorized, move onto the next one. Make it fun (or even competitive) by having your family and friends join in.

Proverbs 3:5–6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths.”

Matthew 6:33
But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”

Psalm 23:6
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”

The Lord’s Prayer Found in Matthew 6 and Luke 11
“Our Father, in Heaven. Holy is Your name. Your Kingdom come, Your will be done. On earth, as it is in Heaven. Give us today the food that we need. Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. Yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory. Forever and ever. Amen.”

Ephesians 4:29
Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.”

Romans 8:28
And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose.”

Jeremiah 33:3
Call to Me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.”

Happy memorizing!
